CANCELADA An amazing little puebla which is still largely undiscovered but which is attracting some of the best property developers in the business. A lot of effort has been put into maintaining a real Spanish atmosphere and the quality of the construction reflects this. Situated midway between San Pedro de Alcantara and Estepona, just 10 minutes walk from the beach and the Villacana Resort, it is an attractive destination and provides a wide variety of restaurants and bars as well as shops selling day to day supplies.
El Carnicero (The Butcher) is one of the best known Restaurants although a little more expensive. La Parcela (The Plot of Land) provides a more reasonable evening out with a similar menu. Casa Miguel is the really busy one and it is always advisable to book.
Predominantly Spanish the visitor may need to know the odd word or two but the welcome is warm - put it on your list of "must do" places to visit.
