Winter on the Costa del Sol! December - February £250p.w. including water and electricity.
Walking distance of the town centre - good location for the Port and the town!!
Estepona
Estepona has grown tastefully over the years and has managed to retain its Spanish identity. Quite my favourite town but it does need exploring as it has so much more to offer than is immediately apparent. There are extensive shopping facilities hidden away in its narrow, bustling streets and the many squares with their restaurants and bars are a must on a sunny day.
The beaches are extensive and regularly cleaned. The palm trees and beach bars beckon and the wide promenade with trees and gardens almost says "walk me".
Childrens playgrounds appear amongst the colourful gardens and the fountains add a cooless to a very hot day. On Wednesdays there is a very formidable street market attended em masse by the locals but all will find something there to tempt. from the mouth watering locally grown fruit and vegetables to the spice and herb stalls which promise a cure for all known ills!
The Port and Marina is about 15 - 20 minutes walk away from the town centre and is another must for the visitor. A wide selection of restaurants line the quay and there is a thriving, if more touristy, Sunday market for all. A very good place for an evening visit or a late lunch on Sunday following the bargain hunting!
Apartment 4E is immediately behind Estepona Marina and has good views of both the Marina and the sea. The building has lifts and stairs and a very handy English GP on the ground floor to keep you fit and healthy! The accommodation is as follows:
Two twin bedded rooms with a full, spacious bathroom to include bath, shower, basin and WC. This area can be closed off from the rest of the apartment which can be an advantage when trying to get smaller children to sleep in the evening. Both rooms are spacious and could accommodate an additional bed if required. The additional cost would be £15.00 p.w. for the rental of a bed. Both rooms have good sea views.
The sitting room is comfortably furnished with settees etc and includes satellite TV and a radio cassette player. It opens onto an east facing balcony with table, chairs and parasol. Some folding chairs for the beach are also provided.
Full dining facilities are to one end of the sitting room close to the kitchen. The fully fitted kitchen is separate and has just been completely refurbished. It includes a fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine and there is a serving hatch to the dining area. Kettle, iron and toaster come as standard.
